I recently discovered that I can play music on my iPhone (please bear with me: I’m not at all technical minded and the iPhone was an unwanted present. At least it was unwanted when I got it: I’m in love with it now). Not having any iPhone music on my phone I had to learn how to do that.
I found that there were loads of services out there on the Internet that allowed me to download iPhone music. Some of it was free and legal, (and some illegal) while some of it was paid for by song. A third type of service existed that, for a flat monthly fee, allowed me to download unlimited iPhone music for no additional payment.  That sounded the best so I went for the cheapest available service.
It turns out that cheapest is not always the best value for money and the range of iPhone music available to download was disappointing.  For some areas (I really like Christian Rock) it was downright poor.
The next service I tried offered a free trial. I went with that so as to have a look around before I handed over any money. It turns out I should have done that the first time round. The selection of iPhone music was much more impressive and I’m far happier with my choice. Now I’m downloading like a madman!

[...] Once I’d got the music I wanted I encountered a further problem: apparently my iPhone music wasn’t compatible with my iPhone (this being caused by my using a general music download site rather than one specifically designed for iPhone music). [...]

  2. Variety of iPhone music that I was getting Says:

[...] Download speeds. If I’d walked to the services’ offices in India, burnt the iPhone music onto a CD then walked back (taking the scenic route) then I’d return at the same time as my computer was downloading the same tracks. It was painfully slow. Ugh. [...]

  3. I Tried Paying for iPhone Music Downloads in The Past Says:

[...] I tried paying for iPhone music downloads in the past – when my moral sensibilities got the better of me – but it just became too expensive. Not only that but I realized I needed the money than the massive publishing companies that would most likely be benefiting from my payment. I’m a happy ‘filesharer’ to this day and I have no regrets that I get all of my iPhone music downloads in this way. [...]
