Apple and AT&T are currently planning the strategy that will be followed when the new 3g iPhone is released; this is suspected to happen early this summer, almost one year after the original model was released.  What’s new in the 3g iPhone? Read on!
The 3g iPhone will obviously have 3g capabilities which the old one did not; it will be 2.5mm thinner than the old model, will generally be sexier, will have either a 8 gigabyte or 16 gigabyte memory and, wait for it, it will be cut in price by up to $200.
This price cut will likely be offered by AT&T to new customers that agree to sign up for a 2 year contract with them; high prices for calls and data on the 3g iPhone mean that AT&T should make their investment back within just a few months. The average 3g iPhone user runs up a $100 tab each month.

With 3G iPhone Apple getting a cut of around 9% and 25% of tariff fees collected each month, the technology provider is laughing all the way to the bank. [...]
